The Grove is home to a brand new 11 circuit Chartes labyrinth. This outdoor walking path is open to the public and is located in the large open field behind the church. The beautifully rustic mowed path is still filling in so temporary flags are used to guide walkers in some areas. The ground is uneven in places and can be muddy so appropriate footwear is recommended. Email Vani Brown to be sent a guide sheet and map.

Our mission with this garden is to create a lasting project that brings people of all ages together to learn, work and fellowship in Jesus’ name to create something bigger than ourselves and benefit the community. We want to make this garden an outdoor learning experience where the community can come together in God’s love to work and learn with our neighbors.
Food PantryPastor’s Pantry
The Pastor’s Pantry provides basic groceries for East Side residents in specific need of short term food assistance. We do this on a case by case basis and recipients need only meet a few basic requirements. We’ve already helped so many make ends meet. The Grove community is invited to regularly donate non-perishable groceries so that we have plenty to give away to those in need.

In partnership with Urban Ministry Center, The Grove opens its gymnasium and facilities to provide shelter and food for the homeless during the winter months. The simple goal is to keep homeless people from freezing on cold winter nights. The greater goal is to provide a more personal relationship to homelessness and gain a deeper understanding of the complexity of the issue.
